Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a Utility Maintenance Technician- Water & Wastewater in Leesburg, FL. The role supports maintenance, repair and installation of water/wastewater systems, under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license and mechanical, electrical or plumbing aptitude with prior utility experience preferred. Travel between sites and some heavy equipment operation are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical, electrical or plumbing aptitude.
• Previous utility experience preferred.
• Pipe laying experience highly preferred.
• Confined space experience and heavy equipment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating utility systems and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and piping issues.
• Repair/maintain pumps, motors and related equipment; support new utility projects.
• Respond to maintenance schedules and emergency calls; maintain equipment and records.
• Support field operations, load/unload materials and assist with inspections.
• Document work orders and assist with meter reading and related tasks.
