Qualifications

• Must have both Class C or higher Water Operator License and Class C Wastewater Operator License issued by Florida DEP.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• 1 year of experience.
• Experience with both water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Previous experience working routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment facilities at one or more plants; process, test equipment and ensure purification per permit and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose operational problems and take corrective action.
• Monitor flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures and related controls.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and related tasks.
• Record operating conditions and data in the shift log; ensure safety and environmental compliance.
