Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking Engineering Interns and Entry-Level Engineers to join its Atlanta water and wastewater team, helping communities safely treat, move, and manage water resources. You will work with experienced engineers on infrastructure projects across planning, design, and construction phases, gaining hands-on exposure to treatment facilities, pipelines, and distribution systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recent grad with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Interest in obtaining an EIT certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers on deliverables.
• Perform engineering calculations, technical analyses, and design evaluations.
• Develop drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other applicable software.
• Support field investigations, data collection, and site visits.
• Contribute to construction-phase services, including submittal reviews and field observations.
