Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Water/Wastewater Intern to join our team. This hybrid position offers undergrad and graduate students hands-on experience with pipelines, pumping facilities, and treatment systems.

The internship requires in-office presence at least three days per week, with a minimum commitment of three months and potential for full-time scheduling. You will assist senior engineers with design calculations, cost estimates, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• ABET-accredited program or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
• Assist in pump calculations and system curves for sizing pumps.
• Prepare construction and design cost estimates under guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in planning and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
• Assist in planning and design of water/wastewater facility projects, including pump and lift stations.
