Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a dedicated civil engineering intern to support water and wastewater projects in a dynamic, employee-owned firm. You will assist senior engineers with research, design tasks, documentation, and site visits to gain practical experience while supporting educational development.

Under supervision, you will prepare drawings, help update record drawings, and participate in team meetings with architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing an ABET accredited undergraduate degree in civil engineering.
• Interest in water and wastewater projects.
• Familiarity with design and production software.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with basic design tasks and project documentation.
• Support preparation of drawings for programming, schematic design, modeling, and construction phases.
• Assist with site visits, RFI responses, and updating record drawings.
• Contribute to presentation and marketing materials and collaborate with the team.
