Job summary

ewi Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager in Austin to lead complex infrastructure projects from planning to completion. You will guide multidisciplinary design teams, coordinate activities, and ensure safety, budget, and quality targets are met while delivering sustainable water and wastewater solutions.

You will define scope, budgets, programmes, and resourcing; oversee feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and handover; and manage risk,

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, environmental, water or related engineering discipline.
• Substantial experience managing water or wastewater projects.
• Professional registration or chartership desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management, design/construction, risk management, procurement.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, budgets, programmes and resourcing requirements.
• Oversee feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Provide technical and commercial leadership, manage change control and project reporting.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with legislation, standards, health and safety.
• Mentor project teams, contribute to bids and proposals, build client relationships.
