AECOM is seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater for our growing Austin, TX office. The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering design and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater engineering design and construction management principles.
• Familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more Water/Wastewater treatment plant, pump station and conveyance project(s).
• Works mostly independently with basic instruction on assignments and objectives.
• Manages all aspects of projects from scope, schedule, budget, proposals, deliverables and QA adherence.
• Direct and manage project implementation including coordination with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and others to meet milestones.
• Mentor junior staff to support delivery and professional development.
• Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, and project documents.
• Manage deliverables, budgets, schedules, and ensure compliance with QA policies.
• Oversee construction phases to ensure works meet contract documents, on time and budget.
• Ensure health and safety policies and quality management systems are followed.
• Prepare proposals and qualification documents to obtain new assignments.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue business development opportunities.
