Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Water & Wastewater Maintenance Technician to perform construction, maintenance and repair on water and wastewater utility system equipment and company facilities under supervision.

The role is full-time and on-site, paid hourly with compensation commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, PTO, holidays and 401(k) with company match is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Motor Vehicle Operator License (Driver's License) required.
• Experience with water and wastewater systems required.
• Pipe laying and confined space experience preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating utility systems, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and piping issues as directed.
• Pull, repair and analyze mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, submersibles) for repairs.
• Assist in installing new utility system improvements and related projects.
• Maintain equipment, respond to maintenance schedules and emergencies.
• Keep maintenance records up-to-date including work orders.
