Under supervision, you will handle grounds cleanup, inspect facilities, service mains, collect samples, operate meters, and assist with treatment plant repairs while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of pumps, controls and related equipment.
• Familiar with water and wastewater systems.
• Safety regulations knowledge for water/wastewater sites.
• Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs general clean-up of grounds and facilities
• Inspects services and facilities as part of investigations
• Flushes and services mains, collection lines and manholes
• Collect wastewater samples
• Reads runtime, event and electric meters
• Assists with repairs at the treatment plant and pump stations
• Able to work after hours including weekends and shifts
• Maintain monthly vehicle reports
• Participate in Continuous Improvement program
