Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. in Skippack, PA, is looking for an Estimator to join our Water & Wastewater Services team.

The ideal candidate will manage cost planning, scheduling, and monitoring for projects such as water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants, with strong reading of blueprints and contract docs. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents.
Ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management.
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies.
Comprehend and disseminate contract documents including plans, specifications and agreements.
Effectively communicate with project engineers and prepare schedule updates while monitoring progress.
Attend progress meetings, prepare change orders and RFI, and process invoices and purchase orders.
Maintain the project schedule to ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance.
