Tarlton Corporation, a St. Louis-based general contractor, is seeking an Estimating Manager for Water/Wastewater to lead bid pricing, risk analysis, and pursuit strategies across Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas.

You’ll guide self-perform and subcontractor pricing, mentor the estimating team, and collaborate with operations to secure winning proposals. You’ll evaluate phasing, logistics, and constructability for complex projects across CM at Risk, design-build, and hard bid formats, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications such as PMP, CPE, or DBIA are a plus.
• Experience with digital takeoff software and standard estimating platforms is essential.

Responsabilités

• Review bid documents and determine clarifications for major pursuits.
• Coordinate site visits, reviews of as-builts, surveys, and conditions.
• Lead pricing, risk reviews, and contingency planning with operations and leadership.
• Direct bid day activities, finalize subcontractor and supplier pricing, and present final numbers.
• Oversee estimating teams and mentoring to ensure accurate, timely estimates.
