Job summary

My City Transportation is seeking an experienced Lead Water & Wastewater Engineer to oversee municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction. The role demands strong leadership, technical excellence, and the ability to drive project success while expanding the firm’s municipal client base.

The ideal candidate has a PE license (or eligibility) with 10+ years in water and wastewater engineering, plus demonstrated ability to manage scopes, schedules, and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible for licensure shortly after hire.
• Experience managing municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client-relations skills.
• Business development or consulting experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Lead water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection projects from planning through construction.

• Mentor engineering staff and provide technical leadership.
