Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Bridgeport, WV, seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects across West Virginia.

You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and permit documents while guiding design teams and client relationships. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 6+ years of progressive engineering experience with project management responsibilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; licensure pursued is acceptable.
• Experience in municipal water and wastewater projects and utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and permit documentation.
• Lead the technical design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pumping infrastructure, storage facilities, and treatment improvements.
• Perform and oversee hydraulic modeling, system evaluations, design calculations, equipment sizing and selection, and engineering analysis.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Conduct and oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff development across project teams.
• Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, participating in consultant selection interviews, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Work with Regional Development Councils to assist with securing funding for public infrastructure projects.
