Job summary

Kennedy Jenks Consultants is seeking ambitious students to join the 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Monterey, CA. You will support project teams working on water resources, water quality, wastewater, and water treatment, with opportunities to contribute to national projects across the United States.

The role may involve field work, reports, calculations, and site visits, with mentorship and client collaboration throughout.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering field.
• Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater, and water treatment projects.
• Involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction documentation, design plans and specifications.
• Attend client meetings and visit project sites as needed.
• Receive mentorship and participate in networking and collaboration opportunities.
