Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to gain real-world experience on exciting projects that improve water systems and protect public health. You’ll apply standard engineering techniques and procedures under the supervision of a professional or Project Manager.

Preferred candidates have 2 years completed toward civil engineering with a 3.0 GPA; local candidates are preferred. You may report to Missoula, MT or Billings, MT as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication abilities.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Local candidates preferred.

In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern, we’ll count on you to:

  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward civil engineering degree with 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Must be able to report to Missoula, MT or Billings, MT

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
