Job summary
Larson Design Group is seeking a Professional Engineer with a PE license and at least five years of relevant experience to lead design efforts on complex projects. You will coordinate technical work, ensure QA/QC, and collaborate across disciplines.
Preferred proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, and hydrologic/hydraulic tools. The role supports professional growth within a top architecture, engineering and consulting firm.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer license (PE) required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ job-related experience.
- ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Plans and designs; reviews others’ work; delivers projects to completion.
- Handles technically complex projects and resolves challenges.
- Maintains cross-functional collaboration across teams.
- Performs QA/QC reviews to meet client requirements and standards.
- Assists in schedules, proposals, and labor hour estimates.
- Communicates scope and requirements to project teams.
- Supports quality assurance to reduce design errors.
- Develops design calculations, specs, and cost estimates.
- Manages design budgets for routine scopes.
- Mentors engineers and interns for technical growth.
