Job summary

Larson Design Group seeks a Professional Engineer to lead design activities and QA/QC for complex projects. The role coordinates project schedules, submits designs, and mentors engineering staff.

Requires PE license, ABET‑accredited degree, and at least five years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, and hydrologic/hydraulic software is preferred. Enjoy a flexible, ESOP‑backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a position‑relevant Engineering field from ABET accredited school.
• Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs independent planning and design tasks, reviews work of others, and delivers projects to completion.
• Works on technically complex projects and applies advanced knowledge to resolve challenges.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with project team members across departments.
• Conducts initial QA/QC reviews of project submissions to ensure client requirements and technical standards are met.
• Assists senior management in developing schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
• Communicates with project teams to deliver the scope of work effectively.
• Promotes QA/QC processes to improve deliverables and reduce design errors.
• Develops design calculations, prepares technical specifications, and cost estimates.
