Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Fairfax, VA office. You will design pipelines, model systems, and evaluate facilities, supporting relocation services and construction administration.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited), 11–15 years of relevant experience, and a Virginia P.E. or eligibility to obtain within six months. Competitive benefits and onsite work offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 11-15 years of water/wastewater design experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems and treatment systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• P.E. licensed in Virginia or ability to obtain by comity within 6 months.

We are currently seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in our Fairfax, VA office. Responsibilities will include water and sewer pipeline design, modeling and rehabilitation, water and wastewater facility evaluation and design, utility relocation services and construction administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a ABET accredited program
• 11-15 years of water/wastewater design experience
• Understanding of or experience designing water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems and treatment systems
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• P.E., registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or ability to become registered through comity from another state within 6 months

The expected compensation range for this position is $140,000.00 - $215,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
