Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or FE exam passed (or required within 18 months of hire)

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering

• Proficient in 3D/4D CADD software, engineering design principles, and Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for client or project requirements

• Familiarity with multidisciplinary infrastructure project teams and permitting processes

Responsibilities

• Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the design of water and wastewater treatment systems, pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure

• Conduct technical site studies and perform water quality and hydraulic modeling

• Ensure designs meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications

• Contribute to technical white papers and support journal publications

• Collaborate with proposal and sales teams on RFP responses

• Communicate design concepts clearly to municipal clients and stakeholders

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff

• May supervise junior team members on project tasks

• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and relevant industry conferences
