Sherwood Design Engineers is seeking a Design Engineer II focused on water and wastewater systems. You will contribute to design, analysis and documentation for maintenance and improvement of water/wastewater infrastructure at a growing firm renowned for sustainable infrastructure projects.
Bring 2+ years of experience, a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The role involves collaboration across teams, plan set preparation, and adherence to codes while
Competenze
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
- Exercises sound judgment on details of work and standard methods.
- Ability to apply prescribed techniques with established criteria.
Mansioni
- Analyses wastewater treatment methods and recommends effective options.
- Designs layout and specifications for pumping and lifting systems.
- Reviews and critiques water and wastewater treatment system proposals, plans, and designs.
- Conducts cost-benefit analyses for projects.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Conducts environmental studies on water/wastewater collection, treatment, or distribution.
