Sherwood Design Engineers in San Francisco, CA seeks a Design Engineer III – Water/Wastewater to join a growing civil/environmental team. You will design water and wastewater facilities, develop plan sets, and support construction administration with stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in civil/environmental engineering and a strong background in water treatment processes, AutoCAD, and design software. PE/EIT preferred; ESOP and flexible work are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in civil/environmental engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or foreign equivalent.
• Strong water/wastewater background with treatment processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop water/wastewater infrastructure designs across all project phases.
• Prepare technical reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.
