You will be involved in projects ranging from treatment and pumping facilities to water distribution, wastewater collection, storage, and conveyance systems.
Key responsibilities include preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and permitting documentation. You will assist with hydraulic modelling, process evaluations, equipment selection, site assessments, and the development of plans for rehabilitation, upgrades, and new construction. The role also involves coordinating with project managers, clients, contractors, regulators, and other technical disciplines; reviewing submittals; supporting construction activities; and helping resolve technical issues during project delivery. You may also contribute to field investigations, condition assessments, commissioning, and the preparation of proposals and work plans.

Professional registration, or progress toward professional licensure, is preferred. Strong knowledge of industry standards, engineering principles, and applicable regulations is expected, along with familiarity with design software, hydraulic modelling tools, and standard office applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience working on municipal or utility infrastructure projects, preparing technical deliverables, and collaborating across disciplines will be highly valued. A willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and participate in field activities is also required.
