Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to contribute to the design and optimization of water and wastewater infrastructure in the Nashville area.

You will work with a team to develop plans and deliverables that meet project requirements and regulatory standards. The role involves planning and design across treatment and conveyance systems, preparing reports and cost estimates, and supporting permitting efforts while collaborating with clients and project teams to produce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 6–12 years of directly-relevant water/wastewater experience.
• PE registration or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and with clients.

About the job Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities : -

• Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
• Work on engineering planning and design projects
• Prepare reports
• Develop plans and specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
• Permitting and alternative analysis
• Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
• Data entry and analysis
• Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
  

Qualifications: -

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• 6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer
• Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  

Preferred Qualifications : -

• Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering
