Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Utah is seeking an entry-level engineer-in-training to contribute to water and wastewater projects. You will participate in planning, design, and construction support for conveyance systems and treatment facilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, data analysis, and preparation of plans and reports. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering and EIT certification are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training certification preferred or required where applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
• Work on engineering planning and design projects
• Prepare reports
• Develop plans and specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
• System modeling
• Permitting and alternative analysis
• Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
• Data entry and analysis
• Provide engineering services during construction
• Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
