Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Charleston seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training to support various water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This entry-level role involves conducting calculations, assisting in civil designs, and collaborating with senior engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and have passed the FE exam. Excellent communication and basic Microsoft Office skills are necessary, along with a willingness to travel occasionally. Qualifications

• Must have taken and passed the FE exam.
• Co-op/Internship experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic calculations and assist in project work.
• Prepare civil designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Support civil team during construction and deliverable management.

Skills

Understanding of civil engineering concepts

Project team collaboration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic experience in Microsoft Office

Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D
