Fehr Graham, a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm, seeks an Associate Water/Wastewater Engineer to work on water treatment and wastewater projects in Rockford, IL. You’ll design, analyze treatment solutions, and collaborate with clients across a range of projects.

This role offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and growth through our Blueprint program over six months, with exposure to project delivery, economics, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience; internships ok for recent grads.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide water engineering design support, from water treatment upgrades to service line replacements.
• Provide wastewater engineering design support, from plant retrofits to effluent corrections.
• Apply standard practices, adjust data, and follow procedures in projects.
• Draft reports, prepare plans, assist with specifications, and select preliminary equipment.
• Work directly with clients to gather data and share information.
