Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking an Associate Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Midwest team. You will work on water and wastewater design projects, collaborate with clients, and grow through a structured mentorship program.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of professional experience or relevant internships, strong communication, and analytical skills, with a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Office-based roles across Illinois, Iowa, or Wisconsin are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2–4 years of professional experience or recent grads with relevant internship experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn within a mentorship environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide water engineering design support from upgrades to lead service line replacements.
• Provide wastewater engineering design support from retrofits to effluent corrections.
• Apply standard practices and follow established procedures with data analysis.
• Draft reports, prepare plans, assist with specifications and equipment selections.
• Collaborate with clients to gather data and share information.
