Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking an Associate Water/Wastewater Engineer to design water and wastewater systems and analyze treatment solutions, based in any of our 12 offices in Illinois, Iowa or Wisconsin. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects and a people-first culture.

You'll participate in Blueprint, our early career leadership program, and grow through mentorship, collaborating across disciplines to deliver practical, lasting solutions for communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
• 2–4 years of professional experience, including internships.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities; eager to grow in mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide water engineering design support, from water treatment plant upgrades to lead service line replacements.
• Provide wastewater engineering design support, from wastewater treatment plant retrofits to correcting effluent exceedances.
• Draft reports, prepare plans, assist with specifications, and support preliminary equipment selections.
• Work directly with clients to gather data and share information.
