Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionCME Associates is seeking a highly motivated Water/Wastewater Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Parlin, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

1. Project Design and Development: Prepare designs, technical specifications, and construction drawings for water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities.
2. Hydraulic Modeling and Analysis: Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to optimize system performance and capacity.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
4. Construction Support: Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, surveyors, and environmental scientists, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including design and project management.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS).
4. Licensure: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain.
5. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
