Job summary

SEH is currently seeking a Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager to join our Water/Wastewater team in Florida. The role includes leading wastewater infrastructure projects across planning, design and construction, and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will have a civil or environmental engineering degree, Florida PE or eligibility within six months, and a track record in managing multi-discipline wastewater projects with strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience managing multi-discipline infrastructure projects.
• Experience in design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater projects.
• Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within six months of hire
• Experience managing multi-discipline infrastructure projects
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects
• Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) or more years of experience designing and/or managing water or wastewater treatment or conveyance projects
• Knowledge of regional water or wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to scope and budget new water or wastewater facility projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

Compensation

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $130,000 and $150,000 based on skill set and experience.
