Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in water or wastewater plant and infrastructure design.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment facilities and collection infrastructure.
• Strong technical writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost effective delivery.
• Lead single and multidisciplinary project teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Prepare and review water and wastewater treatment plant designs and collection infrastructure designs.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Represent the firm in client and agency meetings to resolve technical queries and coordinate project requirements.
• Develop and maintain existing client relationships while supporting business development.
• Take ownership of project engineering solutions and ensure designs meet relevant quality and regulatory standards.
• Support the continued growth of the team, with opportunities for progression into technical and departmental leadership.

The Role

I’m working with an established and growing multidisciplinary engineering firm that is looking to add a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to their team in Houston.

The firm works across a broad range of civil engineering and infrastructure services, offering the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals across water and wastewater, utilities, land development, and other related disciplines.
