Job summary

CRP Group seeks a Project Manager with a PE license and water/wastewater expertise to lead delivery of municipal and infrastructure projects in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will blend technical design knowledge with strong project management and client-facing skills, delivering on scope, schedule and budget while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited programme.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas, or ability to obtain Texas registration through reciprocity.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial scope through to completion, including budgets, schedules, resources and overall project delivery.
• Lead the technical delivery of projects, ensuring designs, specifications and reports meet company quality standards and applicable local, state and federal regulations.
• Take ownership of engineering decisions and provide practical, technically sound solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, senior management, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Lead both single-discipline and multidisciplinary projects, providing technical direction, mentoring and support to junior and intermediate engineers.
• Develop and review designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as water and wastewater collection and infrastructure systems.
• Attend and lead client and regulatory/agency meetings, resolving technical issues and coordinating project requirements.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing municipal and infrastructure clients, helping to identify and develop additional project opportunities.

This is an opportunity for an experienced water/wastewater professional who can combine technical design expertise with project management and client-facing responsibilities. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of water and wastewater facility and infrastructure projects, while developing strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for future work.
