Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Career Electrical & Control Engineer based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves designing electrical and control systems for various engineering projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the design phase for process engineering projects. Strong knowledge of NFPA and IEEE standards is essential. This position supports multi-disciplinary teams and might require fieldwork and travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Electrical and Control Engineering.
• Strong background with industrial equipment and automation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and control systems following specifications.
• Perform electrical design calculations and analyses.
• Prepare technical documentation including diagrams and specifications.
