Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Tucson is seeking an Engineer In Training to join the Water/Wastewater team. You will gain exposure to infrastructure design, including storage, pumping stations, and conveyance systems, while supporting project delivery with other WestLand team members.

The role emphasizes training in water/wastewater planning and design, with emphasis on teamwork, client interaction, and professional growth within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Must be registered, or able to register, as an Engineer In Training (EIT).
• Previous engineering experience is preferred.
• Experience with water distribution, storage, and supply engineering is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD software is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing written proposals and technical writing as needed.
• Contribute to water and wastewater design projects (distribution storage, pumping stations, piping).
• Coordinate information flow between WestLand, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Learn to build relationships with current and future clients and vendors.
