Responsibilities

• Support planning, preliminary, and detailed designs of water/wastewater and stormwater pump facilities under supervision.
• Assist condition assessments and rehabilitation planning for existing pump station infrastructure.
• Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specs, and study-level reports.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of deliverables and participate in field investigations.
• Collaborate with owner and team to ensure design compliance and project success.

In the role of Water/Wastewater Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

• Support planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water/wastewater and stormwater pump facilities under instruction from the Project Engineer or person in responsible charge.
• Support condition assessments and rehabilitation planning for existing pump station infrastructure.
• Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner.
• Perform as part of a quality assurance team and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables.
• Perform field investigations, site visits, and construction observation to ensure compliance with design documents
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain.
• Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
• Water/wastewater/water resources project experience, focus on water/wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipelines, or water resources/stormwater preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred.

Required Qualifications

• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment
