Job summary

Envirogen Group seeks an experienced Drafter to support the design and delivery of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting experience, extensive 3D modelling, and a solid understanding of process equipment, piping systems, skids, valves, and tank design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D is required. The role is based in Kingwood with hybrid work flexibility and offers a salary range of $55,000 to $75,000.

Qualifications

• Degree in Applied Science (Drafting) or a related discipline with a strong technical background.
• Experienced in a similar drafting or design role within an engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of process equipment, piping systems, valves, skid-mounted systems, and tank design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants using AutoCAD.
• Produce detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Develop 3D models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support BIM Asset Management, including Asset Registers and Asset Information Models.
• Coordinate and compile Operation and Maintenance Manuals, including as-built models and drawings, equipment datasheets, procedures, maintenance schedules, and spare parts schedules.
• Apply sound engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to design challenges.
