Ardurra is seeking an Engineer III to join our Water/Wastewater team in Houston, TX. You will engage in detailed design work for projects in water and wastewater infrastructure and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.

The role supports a growing Texas practice, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and pathways for advancement within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. PE licensure is encouraged and professional growth is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years of related engineering experience in water and wastewater or closely related infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
• Engineers actively pursuing licensure and capable of obtaining their PE within their first year are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering work products (drawings, specs, calculations, models, technical documents).
• Support design of water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers to evaluate and specify treatment equipment.
• Evaluate design alternatives to improve constructability, performance and cost.
• Consult with construction personnel on constructability, sequencing and field conditions.
• Support construction-phase services including review of submittals, schedules, costs, and invoicing.
