Job summary

J-U-B ENGINEERS, inc. in Kennewick, WA seeks a collaborative Water/Wastewater Engineer or EIT to join our Kennewick office.

You will work on design for municipal water and wastewater projects, take on increasing responsibility, and contribute to projects that protect public health and sustainability. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gain mentorship, and have opportunities to pursue professional growth and ownership as the firm emphasizes employee ownership and long-term career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in water/wastewater or municipal infrastructure.
• Experience with planning, design, and construction support for utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and related systems.
• Support projects from concept through construction.
• Analyze engineering data and interpret plans and specifications to make sound decisions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers who mentor and invest in growth.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, and survey teams and engage with agencies, clients, and stakeholders.
• Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D, WaterCAD, Aquatwin Sewer and MS Office in design work.
