J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer focused on Agricultural Irrigation and Surface Water in Kennewick, WA. You will contribute to design, permitting, and construction of irrigation and municipal infrastructure across the region.

Role involves collaboration with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and delivering practical, high‑quality water resources solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer licensure in WA or OR (reciprocity acceptable).
• 10–15+ years of civil engineering experience in irrigation, surface water, water, wastewater, or civil infra projects.
• Knowledge of project permitting and regulatory processes.
• Strong technical, communication, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in all phases of project development, planning, design and construction administration.
• Analyze engineering data; prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates; make sound engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with the Surface Water Resources Group and multidisciplinary teams to deliver design and construction projects.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory requirements, including in-water work and dam safety permits.
• Organize meetings with clients, agencies, and partners; develop relationships throughout project delivery.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling tools to communicate solutions via reports and presentations.
• Support project management: scope, budget, schedule, quality control, and delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support client relationships and business development.
