Job summary

MacKay is seeking a Water/Wastewater Design Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team. This role is remote nationwide in the US, with travel about 20% and preference for proximity to a MacKay branch. You will provide technical leadership for water treatment and process design, perform analyses, create drawings and specifications, and help prepare proposals and budgets.

  • B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with emphasis on water/wastewater design.
  • Colorado P.E. required; P.E. in other southwestern states a plus.
  • 5–10 years of process design, construction and operations in municipal/industrial water treatment.
  • MS degree preferred; 40-hr HAZWOPER and 40-hr MSHA certifications are a plus.

We are open to reviewing candidates based remotely and are able to support our clients. Proximity to a MacKay Branch office location is preferred.
