Job summary

Consor in Austin, TX is seeking a Professional Engineer to apply engineering principles to the design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll take ownership of design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and client expectations while growing your professional engineering judgment and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline (Civil/Environmental/Mechanical or related).
• 4+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical documentation for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards and design codes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system evaluations for design decisions.
• Coordinate design efforts across internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with technical input, cost estimating, and quality control.
