Job summary

Freese and Nichols, Inc. seeks a Conveyance Engineering Project Manager in Atlanta or Columbus, GA, to lead water and sewer distribution and pump station projects from concept through construction.

You will mentor staff, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure quality deliverables while engaging with clients and regulators. A PE license and 6+ years of water/wastewater experience are required for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects using earned value management principles.
• Supervise multi-discipline teams of engineers, technicians, GIS analysts, designers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate work to ensure continuity, quality, and timely delivery.
• Design and review calculations and compile drawings/reports.
• Mentor junior staff and communicate with clients and regulators.
• Support business development, including scope/fee prep and proposals.
