Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Treatment team in Knoxville, TN, overseeing the construction and commissioning of wastewater treatment plants, water reclamation facilities, and comprehensive treatment systems. You will drive risk, schedule, quality, and financial performance while coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will manage documentation, cost control, reporting, change management, procurement, safety, and communications to ensure owner satisfaction

Qualifications

5-7 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
BS degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to coach, train and mentor others.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Oversee all financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement project documentation, cost control, reporting, change management, quality assurance, procurement, communication systems, and safety procedures.
Ensure the predictability and quality of projects, focusing on owner satisfaction.
Maintain leadership continuity throughout all construction phases, from initiation to final close-out and commissioning.
Leverage self-perform capabilities to optimize project control, quality, and efficiency.
