Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater plant construction projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will manage on-site teams, supervise budgeted activities, and liaise with clients, A/E firms, and subcontractors.

The role requires 7–10 years of construction/management experience, 3–5 years in water/wastewater projects, and strong leadership and communication skills. On-site work in Medford, OR with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3–5 years of water or wastewater plant project experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business orientation and proven judgment.
• 4-year degree or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate preconstruction and construction activities.
• Monitor and control construction to ensure schedule and budget; investigate issues and implement corrective measures.
• Represent Company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintain client relationships.
• Provide leadership and technical support to project engineers, field engineers and superintendents.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials through purchase agreements and subcontracts.
• Support Change Management, Cost Estimating, revenue and forecasting and Scheduling.
