Job summary

Timmons Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Construction Administrator for our Water Infrastructure Group to support projects across central Virginia, including pipelines, pumping stations, storage tanks and treatment facilities.

You will oversee construction documentation, coordinate with project managers, regulators, contractors and inspectors, and help ensure work complies with plans and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in engineering or construction field; 5+ years in water/wastewater construction preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret water/wastewater plans, P&IDs, specs, and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D; Procore experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prompt, concise communication with Project Stakeholders and Project Manager.
• Review plans for constructability and suggest improvements.
• Cost estimating and bid tabulations review.
• Create and review construction schedules and progress meetings.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Visit sites to document observations and ensure compliance.
