Job summary

Timmons Group seeks a Water & Wastewater Treatment Project Manager/Senior PM to join the Richmond, VA team. Lead treatment projects across Virginia and North Carolina, driving quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, a PE license (VA/NC or reciprocity), 6–10 years of municipal water/wastewater design, and proficiency in CAD and BioWin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in Virginia and North Carolina, or reciprocity within 6 months.
• 6–10 years of municipal water/wastewater treatment design experience.
• Experience with EnviroSim BioWin preferred and proficiency with engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of water and wastewater treatment facility projects with focus on quality, profitability and client satisfaction.
• Develop technical strategies, design criteria, and construction documents.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing and communications.
• Cultivate client relationships, negotiate scopes and fees, and support billing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and oversee multiple mid-sized and small projects.
