Qualifications

• At least three years of design/engineering experience in municipal infrastructure.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to use AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to use other engineering automation tools (Revit, BIM 360) is preferred.
• Strong technical verbal and technical writing skills and ability to read technical literature and engineering plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; apply knowledge to routine and non-routine tasks.
• Two-way communication skills to effectively work with internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute civil site design tasks across municipal infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and mentor junior engineers.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy.
• Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, and client communications.
• Act as technical expert on projects and PM on smaller scope or specialty projects.
• Identify and resolve technical, scheduling, or financial challenges.
