McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to join our Water/Wastewater team in Arkansas. You will transform hand drawings into technical CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and help maintain CAD standards across the firm.

The position is based in Fort Smith, Fayetteville, or Little Rock and requires proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers on civil and

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Drafting or Survey.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D.
• Ability to create and modify assets, materials, and annotation for CAD design.
• Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Aufgaben

• Optimize “best practices” for CAD design.
• Create and prepare detailed plans and/or scale drawings for civil engineering and structural engineering projects.
• Produce drawings in accordance with company CAD standards, specific project requirements and client preferences.
• Revise plans per redlines or review comments and communicate with engineer and/or project manager as needed.
• Open to learning and embracing new technologies to complete tasks related to job or assignment.
• Effectively communicate with all team members.
