Job summary

CEC Controls is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial automation and control system integration projects for municipal water and wastewater clients across Florida and the Southeast. You will deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while serving as the primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle.

The role leads multidisciplinary teams and covers planning, financial performance, risk management, and project success from kickoff

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in related engineering or Tech, or equivalent experience.
5+ years PM experience in industrial automation or related industries.
Experience managing projects from $250k to $5M+.
Ability to travel up to 25% yearly, primarily within Florida and surrounding states.
Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Execute multiple automation projects from award to final acceptance.
Develop project execution plans including scope, schedule, procurement, staffing, and commissioning.
Lead internal kickoff meetings and establish objectives with engineering and field teams.
Monitor performance against schedule, budget, quality, and milestones; identify risks and mitigation.
Conduct routine project reviews with management.
Drive projects to completion with high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, panel shops, and field personnel.
Develop and maintain project budgets; forecast labor and material costs.
