Job summary

Collier County seeks a dedicated technician for water utilities maintenance. The role involves locating service connections, installing and repairing valves, maintaining pumps and hydrants, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs water utilities maintenance: locate connections, install/repair valves, maintain pumps, pipes, hydrants, and related equipment.
Conducts preventive maintenance and inspections, including backflow devices and cross-connection checks.
Responds to after-hours emergencies as scheduled for on-call duties.
Operates a wide range of equipment and tools listed in the posting.
Monitors inventory of supplies and requests replacements as needed.
Transports equipment and crew to work sites and ensures safety and efficiency.
